Last night I received my February box from Wantable Intimates. Wantable is one of my very favorite subscription brands, with options for makeup, jewelry, intimates and fitness boxes. As a subscriber, you get a discount on the monthly price, plus you can skip a month at anytime. They also offer easy, hassle-free returns if you’re not 100% happy.
I’ve actually had a couple of months lately with the Intimates box where I just wasn’t feeling the love. Not a problem… they took the box back without questions. I then took a moment to update my profile and fine tune what I love and don’t love so much, as each box is curated to your specific style, and you’ll never receive anything you dislike.
As you can see I let them know how much I love loungewear, and my stylist even wrote a cute note back thanking me for the input. This month I received 3 pieces — a top & pant lounge set in a really fun blue, plus an adorable sports bra! Since I live in loungewear around the house (especially the pants), this was a great choice for me. I also workout a lot, but more importantly, I like to look cute when I workout, so the sports bra was a hit. I’m already looking forward to my next box!
My obsession with subscription boxes continues! I’m really trying to cut down (really!), but when I see a great deal like this one, I just can’t stop myself. Much like the feeling I get when I find the perfect shoe on sale. (sidebar: my skin is looking fantastic lately thanks to all the high-quality products I’ve been using from theses boxes).
The Net-A-Porter Valentine’s Kit started arriving in homes this week, and surprisingly there are still boxes available to purchase. Even without knowing what’s in the box, these typically sell out within 72 hours. So knowing how fabulous the contents are and what a great value it is – only $65 with over $200 worth of product – I can’t pass this up. Though I do believe I’ll put a bow on it and tell my husband it’s his Valentine’s gift to me. 🙂
Included in the box:
Now that the contents have been revealed, I’m sure the remaining boxes won’t last long, so go snap yours up now!
You know I love POPSUGAR, and I recently posted a couple of spoilers on the Holiday Box for Her. The full box spoilers have now been revealed, and surprisingly there are still boxes available to order. If you haven’t ordered a box yet, you’re in luck because POPSUGAR is offering a free December box with the order of a holiday box.
Just use offer code JOY to get the December box free with your order. The full contents of the holiday box include the throw I mentioned in my last post, plus a Loeffler Randall clutch, several skin care items, and a candle. Oh, and chocolate! Enjoy!
Thanks to Liz at My Subscription Addiction for sharing the spoilers!
I blogged about the Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Limited Edition box a couple of weeks ago. I resisted buying at the time (shocking, I know!) because $250 is a lot to spend when you don’t know what you’re getting. Well, wait no more, as the full box spoilers are now available.
The Clare V. foldover clutch is valued at $220, almost the cost of the box. I know several people on my gift list who would love this. But that’s not what has me most excited. The Missoni Home candle is gorgeous and a piece of art on its own that would look great in the family room. The other items, including the picture frame and the small jewelry box would also make great gifts.
Now that you know what’s in the box, what do you think?! Personally, I’ll likely skip this one. While it’s a great value – $250 for over $650 in products – the candle is the only thing I’m swooning over. With all the holiday sales starting already, I can spend $250 more thoughtfully for similar items.
I’m not much of a nail polish girl — I love polished toes, but I’m just so hard on my hands that nothing seems to last long. I’m on a computer most of the working day, and that just seems to kill any finish. But whenever I receive a new and exciting color in a subscription box, I’ll definitely try it.
I received this yummy NCLA nail color last month in my Boxycharm box and was instantly drawn to it. It’s called Catwalk Queen and it’s neutral in a way that takes on nude, yellow or pink undertones depending on the color next to it. NCLA polishes are “5 free” meaning they’re free of DBP, toulene, and formaldehyde, as well as camphor and animal testing. Personally, I find these polishes don’t stay on as long, but otherwise I was really happy with the coverage and color.
Like I said, I don’t do the best job with my nails, but I love this color! I plan to take it to my salon for a pedicure next spring.
I love the sophisticated packaging!
I’m a huge fan of the POPSUGAR Must Have subscription box. Each month they send out a variety of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products, such as a candle or designer earbuds. The value of the box is always a lot more than what you pay, and for items that aren’t quite my taste, well I’m saving those as gifts!
PPOPSUGAR also offers limited edition season boxes, and this magnificent holiday box in partnership with Neiman Marcus. Last year’s box included a throw, a Jonathan Adler zebra dish, a Nest candle and more! This year’s is sure to be fantastic and might just finish up my Christmas shopping for me. It would also make a great gift for a special person.
The box is $250 – a lot to spend not knowing what you’ll receive, but based on past boxes I’ll probably break down and order this today. No willpower when I know I’ll love it! The boxes are scheduled to arrive in mid-November.
I came home from my trip last week to a stack of subscription boxes. It was like my birthday all over again. I typically like to share here boxes that customize, since I know that people like to see the different box versions and options. That, and there are plenty of sites out there that do a great job of showing you what’s in the boxes that are the same for everyone.
There were some really exciting products in my September boxes, though, so I just can’t hold back!
French Box is a new subscription box that just launched this month. It features a variety of products made in France, which I’m really excited about. They’re doing a special to get your first box for $14. This month – among l’autre fantastique French items – I received this lipstick from Sothys which is perfect for fall. And at a value of $28.50, this made the box more than worth it. I’m always hesitant to spend that much on a lipstick if I don’t know that I’ll like it, so this was great to receive.
I finally subscribed to Sample Society, the box partnered with Allue and BeautyBar.com. It’s only $15 a month, and includes deluxe and full size products. What got me was this eye cream! First, I’m addicted to eye products. I’ve read something about how your eyes really reveal your age, so if you don’t take care of that delicate area, you’ll look older then you really are.
The Restorsea eye cream retails for $85 – and yes, a full size product was included in this month’s box! I’m overjoyed!
Finally, just when I though I couldn’t love PopSugar any more, they include this amazing Tilo scarf in the September box. It is the perfect Fall accessory and will go with so many things! I found a similar scarf online for $105, so again, just this one product was worth more that I paid for the box.
So fun, and I’m saving all the items I don’t use to add to my Christmas gifts this year. People on my list are going to be receiving some really wonderful items!
