PANTONE’S 2016 COLORS OF THE YEAR

Pantone, the company that considers itself the authority on colors in consumer trends, announced in December that Rose Quartz and Serenity are their colors of the year for 2016. The two colors reflect "connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace," the company said. Click through for other colors of the year.Yes, colors!  Pantone in known for having a keen eye on the leading edge of color trends, especially those in fashion and beauty.  They follow the colors that are unique and subconsciously make their way in phase, then right on the edge of something big, it’s the color of the year.  Except this year, there were two colors selected.

Call it equality for the colors, or just that two colors represented better than one, Rose Quartz and Serenity are it!  The soft, stress-free colors evoke tranquility and calm.  And they can both be worked into your wardrobe today with accessories and beauty.
