I have a love of accessories, but especially handbags. Even though I tend to carry the same bag for weeks on end, my closet holds a collection of bags that spans from designer totes to sequined evening clutches to vintage 1960’s bags that belonged to my mother.
So when I discovered The Purse Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas, I quickly added it to my bucket list. Apparently, a purse museum isn’t a thing (I think it should be, don’t you?!), so there just aren’t many in the world. Amsterdam and Seoul host the other two, so Little Rock seems more likely that I’ll actually get there someday. With over 4,000 handbags, you’ll find a collection of vintage, contemporary, and handmade bags.
One of the bags I’m loving is this early 20th century European beaded bag. The detail and craftsmanship is amazing, and I’m loving the floral accents on the gold. Now, off to make my travel plans to Little Rock!
