I recently discovered the Yuzen subscription box, a quarterly collection of spa and beauty eco-friendly items. So even though I’ve been trying to scale down in the number of boxes I receive, this one seemed really unique with items I knew I’d love. By default I’m not fussy about products being natural or organic, but I’m happy when they are!
My first box arrived over the weekend, and I’m really in love with the quality of the products, the detail in the packaging, and the overall level of thoughtfulness that went into curating the box.
The first thing that caught my eye was the personally signed card included in the box. I love it when boxes have a theme that’s easily understood and relates to the season.
The items all came packaged in this pretty organza bag. These make great packaging for small gifts, and it makes the presentation extra special.
Pictured above are the contents of the winter 2014 box. Yes, you had me at Dark Chocolate Covered Cocomels. In fact, you could have sent me an entire box of those, and I’d be ecstatic!
Also included were 2 Salus shower bombs – I’m really excited to try these, a large ZENTS shea butter soap, and a sample of Essence of Vali Sleep, a blend of lavender and other essential oils to ease you into sleep. Love this!
There were also three great skincare products — I can wait to try the Jurlique eye cream! I’ve used other Jurlique products and have been really happy with them. And as a self-proclaimed eye cream addict, this was a win for me. By the way, Jurlique is having a 25% off sale on their site through Wednesday, so if you’re a fan of their products now is a great time to stock up!
The Cowgirl Extreme C Serum is a new brand for me and something that I’ll definitely use, as I will the Acure facial scrub.
At $33 for the box, I’m really happy with the products and the overall curation. Which product is your favorite?!
